Let's begin!

Once you click on the link above it will bring you here

From the site you are going to want to click on Nascar Heat Essentials as shown here

Once you click on it. It will bring you here

Download it and install.

This download is what is needed to run NASCAR Heat and all the mods and all the tracks. This download will not include any tracks or cars, please take note of that. To access the file(s) click Start->run and enter C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat , some files will show up but we're not done yet .

Now go back to the Mod Squad main download section then your going to want to click on this

Once you click there it will bring you here and you can download COT Platinum g2 by clicking here where the pic shows you

Download that.

make sure it installs to C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\Nascar Heat\CotPlatinumG2. it might ask you if you want to create the cotplatinumg2 folder make sure you hit yes.

Now go back to the main download section and click on COT Platinum G2 ADDONS as shown here

. Now you have options you can download either the Nationwide carset or the Sprint Cup car set, take your pick. As shown here

The files should be set automatically to download to your brand new COT Platinum G2 folder(C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\Nascar Heat\CotPlatinumG2). The files will be located inside a folder called carsets, which will create a folder inside that called whatever you downloaded.

TWO MORE STEPS TO GO (They're the easiest ones too!)

Back to the main site downloads section. Now you need to download NASCAR Heat Utilities-Mod Launcher 2v.1.6 as shown here

then you will click here on Mod Luncher as shown here

Download that.

This will help you easily swap cars, drivers, and files. So you can go from truck to Arca, or Nationwide to Sprint or whatever. Now this part is important! It needs to install to this directory: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\CotPlatinumG2\Carsets. Or you can let it install where it wants to and all you have to do is this when you click on it as shown here

All that’s left is to install the tracks at the main downloads section as shown here

downloads->COT Platinum Multi Mod TRACKS

You need to install a track for everything to work (just install everything, lol). It will instal to here: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\Run. All tracks will be downloaded there.

Now go to mod launcher 2 icon on your desktop or you can go to your carsets folder inside you COT Platinum G2 folder. Once you do that follow the pic steps bellow

once you click on carset swapper this should pop up like so

now to make sure all the track are there once you hit swap it will bring back to the regular box all you have to do is this shown in the pic bellow

Then you will see that this box will pop up and follow the instructions on pic

you got one more thing to do it will come back to the original box

w00t! It should all work like a charm!

here is the new version of the tutorial with pics hopefully this will make it alot easier to get it working guys enjoy

I've had it installed for a while, but the track manager in the Mod Launcher 2 only has 2 tracks in it. Yet all the tracks I have installed appear in the game.

I don't understand it, but at least I can race on the tracks!

ok thanks and i messed up something with the car view. when i race, its like, under the driver. I can see the front two tires. Can u help???
