Hockenheim Results
I think there was a glitch, it says Suzuka for some random reason...And it says everyone led a lap which was not possible. |

Budweiser Shootout:
For six cars, it was a very interesting race. Surprisingly, the #3 started on the pole, but never led a lap, although all other drivers led at least two laps. This is a good indication of what the Daytona 500 will be like. The race was actually shorter than I expected, math sucks, calculations were wrong, 20 lap race, about 18 minuets. Ah well...

The last half lap finish is uploading. It'll take a while though. It's an AVI file (approx. 770MB) but this should be high quality. |

Daytona 500 Results:
Race rundown:
The Daytona 500 weekend in anything is special, this one will go down as NGOL's finest race. The #24 driven by Mrmeaty248 scored the pole with a time of 49.588 and a speed of 181.495 mph. The nine car field was ready to go racing. Trouble started early for some drivers, both the #3,#83, and the #6 lost the draft before lap 5, this was a 38 lap event. Lap 16 the #48 also lost the lead draft. Big time trouble struck the #38 as he lost a tire on lap 18, no caution was shown, but it was just the start of a bad day for the #38, one lap later his team mate the #88 lost the draft. On lap 26 all the cars came to pit road, there was a three car break away at the point, the #5, #24, and #28 all took turns at the point. That changed after pit stops. The #5 crew only took two tires, the #28 and #24 took four tires, which would give the #5 a nine second lead over the #88, who also took two tires. But there was a saving grace for all the competitors, except for the #38 whose motor exploded and caused the yellow to come out with just eight to go, the #38 would not return to the race. This took away the #5's almost assured victory and put everyone bumper to bumper. When the green came out with six to go, the #5 was punted from the lead, everyone ran two by two or three by three until the final lap. The #28 took the lead from the #6 heading into turn 1, the #6 got freight trained by just about everyone. This put the #24 in second place, he would make his move going into turn 3, but the #28 put up a fight and never lost the position, as drivers were scrambling behind them they were two by two going to the finish line. The #48, who started the last lap 7th, found himself in 3rd. The #48 took it almost on the apron to steal 2nd, but the #28 prevailed and won by .019 seconds, the #48 finished second by .001 seconds. The #24 is now eligible for the 2011 Bud Shootout, and the #28 is locked into the All-Star.

Crown Royal 400 results:
Race rundown: #88 Blitz1942 qualifies on the pole with a time of 20.929 and a speed of 129.007 mph. The #88 took the early lead but the #5 took it away on lap 5. The #5 was pulling away from the entire filed and had a safe and comfortable lead as much as 2.4 seconds ahead of 2nd place. But by lap 20, second place #1 was slowly dwindling down the #5's lead and finally by lap 52, the #1 was on the #5's bumper. Lap 57 the top 4 cars pitted, leaving #83 with the lead, the rest of the field would pit lap 59. Meanwhile the #1 beat the #5 off of pit road by nearly two seconds, which secured him the win. The race was caution free. Phinphan's #1 car is eligible for the All-Star event and the #88 is locked into the 2011 Budweiser Shootout. We'll head to "The Rock" next week where there's sure to be some action.

The #38 spent 24 laps in the lead before giving in the the #48, 11 laps later the #48 gave it away to the #18. Samsung 500 results:
Race rundown:
The weekend started on a high for the #8 team with a brand new paint scheme and a pole to go with it. He laid down a lap of 28.161 second and 191.784 mph. The #3 and the #8 broke away from the field early, but the top 10 were able to use the draft and catch up to them. The #8 led the first 21 laps before being passed by the #81 on lap 22. The #83 took the lead on the last lap before the #24 overheated the engine and brought out a caution. Everyone went to pit road, but the #8 beat them all off of pit road. For unexplained reasons, all the cars sat on pit road for one lap before the pace car picked them up again. The race later resumed and the #8 led up to lap 50 before being boxed in by the #24, and allowed the #83 to go to the lead. Laps 57-60 started pit stops, and it was not until lap 61 when it all cycled back around to the #8. With just a few to go the #18 encountered unknown problems, it did not bring out a caution, but he lost several laps as the #8 car cruised to victory. The #8 is the first car this season to start 1st and end 1st, and will be locked into both exhibition events.

Hickory 400 results:
Race rundown:
The #81 of King took the pole with a blazing speed of 84.806 mph, and a time of 15.409. Showing that this pole was no fluke, King led the first 101 laps. On lap 77, the #38's motor blew, which would evaporate King's incredible six second lead over the #24 of Mrmeaty. On lap 99 the #81 would pit, followed by the #24, only two laps later the caution would come out because the #94 and #22 crashed on pit road. The new leader would become the #3, but he would have to pit or else he'd run out of fuel with the other eight cars who had yet to make a pit stop. Afterwards the #83, who was the only car to pit under the first caution, stayed out and won the race under caution. The #81 who had led more than 90% of the race, finished a dissapointing 8th. The results has a typo, the #83 won, but the #24 and #3 passed him before crossing the line.

Jacksonville 400 results:
Race rundown:
The #88 of Blitz sat on the pole with a lap of 16.775 (85.838 mph). Blitz led the first three laps before being passed by the #23. The first few positions stayed the same until lap 62 when the caution came out when the #6 blew his engine. A few cars decided to pit, including the pole setter, but most of the top 10 stayed out. Racing resumed a few laps later, and the #23 jumped to a good sized lead after the #6 held up a few of the leaders, but it was the same car who held up the leader, which allowed the others to gain. With nine laps to go the #8 decided he'd take the lead and never looked back. He took his second win of the season. Surprisingly, at least 10 cars made it to the finish without pitting once in the 100 lap event.

Dodge Dealers 400 results:
Race rundown: The #22 took the pole with a 27.785 time and a fast speed of 176.987 mph. The #22 led from the green until lap ten where the #48 took it away. The #38 was the first caution of the race at lap 16 with a blown motor...Again. On lap 31 the top three hit pit road along with several other back runners, the #5 and #83 stayed out long enough to lead a lap each, but because the #88 made a pit stop under the last caution, he became the leader, and on lap 49 the caution came out for the #5, the #88 had essentially lapped the field, and on the last lap of the yellow he came to pit, giving up his lap lead but it wouldn't matter because with pit strategy the #88 would win at Darlington.

About lap 40, three wide for the lead!

#88 wins!
