| Quite honestly, I'll just release this mod myself one week from today. Its been done for about a month, and I'm just a little miffed it hasn't been released yet, but they may be waiting for the COT's to be released later. Not sure...But that's what Imma gonna do! |

I still have plans for a mid season update, and I'd like to post it Early Sunday morning. If I do not release it then, y'all have to wait another week to get it because I'll be at summer camp. As posted above, 15+ cars will recieve minor updates, and about 10 cars will recieve new schemes, two cars will have a driver swap (guess who). Two, possibly three new cars will be added to the COY carset. Now, if you like the regular cars than the special ones, don't worry, they'll be included in the paint.res and can be edited via drivers.txt. For example, the new scheme is car 524 (which would be the #24 National Guard) if you change it down the 424 the car changes back into his original DuPont scheme. This will be the opposite for BK's #12 as his "black" Verizon car is 512, his new "white" Verizon car is 412.
I would also very much like to do Kyle Busch's #18 M&M's Toyota, but I may not have the time frame to do it. But, no matter what I'm releasing it somehow...
After this update, there will not be any more paint.res updates, but I will keep updates on driver.txt, and by September or so, I'll have track specific driver.txt's like Superspeedways, Speedways, Short tracks, and Roadies. Overkill? Maybe...BUT I CARE DAMMIT! |
