|
|
You may or may not have noticed, but I am starting a brand new carset for NASCAR Heat. I'm calling this the COT to COY 2010 Carset for Heat. Currently, I'm releasing cars one by one, I released five today alone, when pieced together they will make one super massive awesome carset.
Currently, if you want them piece by piece, I recommend copying and renaming the Nationwide 2009 carset and placing the schemes in there. I also number the cars 400-509. When fully completed I'll see if I can pack it into a paint.res file to save the hassle of installing 50+ cars, lol. Don't look for the full thing to be released before the 500, want to get as many cars as possible.
I plan to do as many main cars from the 2010 season, and I know one for sure I can't make without proper logos and that is the #18 M&M's Toyota .
My inspiration for this came from a nr2003 compilation video, which showed many 2008 Sprint Cup schemes on COY's, and it looked cool, and personally, I like the Nationwide models for Heat more than the COT's anyways. And it's cool to think "what if?"
If you find a real 2010 main scheme for any driver not already posted on Jayski's, or the EA Sports forums, send it to me please!
Here's the list (in order) of cars I can possibly do now:
Here's the list of completed cars (see my garage for most these downloads):

These cars will be top quality as I will post this at the Mod Squad when finished as well. You guys can get the cars piece by piece while they can wait for the full thing . This will also mark the last time I will ever make cars for NASCAR 09, as I'm pretty much full blown Heat as of now.
Hope you guys enjoy, pictures soon when more cars are added.

Yes it does, it looks plenty like it, the Heat image was just taken at an awkward angle. If you see more of the side it looks plenty like it. |

Instead of the 2010 M&M's you could do another one, I like the Double Mint

It's not as easy as it seems to get a COT car to look perfect on the COY body _________________

That's what I was thinking, and I've looked everywhere for the M&M characters from '08 or '09 can't find any . But Double Mint is awesome! |

TA DA!
It's soooo sexy. Hollywood's base (MRG). Story behind it in my garage. I think I got one more car in me for today, gonna paint the #49 Warner Music Toyota, Jayski's doesn't have it but I do! After that I only have two more main cars I can paint (#48 and #56), and I know the #56 will take a good portion of time... |

How do you covert 09 to HEAT use that square tool from pdn and copy it and paste. |

I had the most insane thing happen to me while running this mod. I was at Atlanta racing, and the AI dumps me. Never since I've played heat since 2000 had this happened to me, was a kinda cool wreck though, got airborne, almost fully flipped, flipped Jr., and spun the #49 car. I'll post videos soon, going to take forever to upload. They're in HD, and direct from Fraps so it's good picture quality.
iPod/iTunes only, in pieces , all the same wreck.

Pretty much, but sometimes it's just easier to start off with a clean slate. |

After I paint this #17 car, I'm going to paint a few extras and alternatives for the drivers, until some new main schemes come out. |
